Current watch entries

Scheduled items show a documented future effective date. Current items are active rules worth checking before choosing or restructuring a platform.

MailerLite's current free plan uses lower subscriber and feature limits

Category
Free plan limits

MailerLite's current free plan allows up to 250 active subscribers, 2,500 monthly emails, 2 seats, 3 automations, 3 forms, 1 digital product, 1 landing page, and 1 website. Its public FAQ describes these feature-use limits as current across Free-plan accounts; an account over a feature-use limit enters a restricted state until it reduces active usage or upgrades.

Why it matters: Treat the feature-use limits as current for Free accounts. An account over a feature-use limit should reduce active items or upgrade to leave the restricted state.

MailerLite now sells Comfort and Power with expanded feature access

Observed

Category
Paid plan structure

MailerLite renamed Growing Business to Comfort and Advanced to Power. New subscriptions and manual plan changes use the new plans now; existing paid accounts transition at renewal starting August 13. Comfort adds many features that were previously limited to the highest tier, while Power provides unlimited monthly sending and feature use subject to fair use.

Why it matters: Compare the current Comfort and Power feature limits, subscriber tier, and billing interval instead of mapping the old plan names directly to the new economics.

Current · Kit

Kit's free Newsletter Plan requires Creator Network recommendations

Category
Free plan policy

Kit includes a managed Recommendation slot on the Newsletter Plan. Current Smart Recommendations documentation says one slot is locked and cannot be changed on that plan.

Why it matters: The free plan can support a large list, but the signup experience includes third-party creator recommendations. Treat that as a product and trust decision, not only a price advantage.

Current · GetResponse

GetResponse contact structure can affect the billed tier

Observed

Category
Contact billing

GetResponse documents pricing based on contact count and explains that the same email address in separate lists can occupy multiple contact positions.

Why it matters: List consolidation and duplicate-contact cleanup can matter financially even when the number of unique people has not changed.

What this watch does not do

It does not predict unpublished pricing, copy provider announcements without interpretation, or treat every wording change as a material product change. Entries are added only when an official source affects cost, limits, account structure, or a buying decision.

Always verify the live provider page before purchasing or changing a production account. Effective dates, migration rules, regional pricing, taxes, and grandfathering can differ.
